Title: Java Support Engineer
Location: Heredia, Costa Rica (Hybrid Onsite)
About the Role
We are seeking an Entry-Level Java Support Engineer to join our delivery team and support customer onboarding for Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who wants hands-on experience with enterprise IAM solutions, SaaS integrations, and Java-based development in real-world environments.
You will work closely with senior engineers and delivery teams to support application onboarding, assist with identity integrations, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to platform enhancements as you grow in the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support application onboarding activities for IAM platforms.
- Assist in configuring and troubleshooting integrations using SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Support platform stability by assisting with incident analysis and issue resolution under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Contribute to development tasks, including bug fixes and minor enhancements, using Java.
- Support deployment and automation activities in environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Maintain technical documentation related to onboarding, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional delivery and support teams in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an advanced degree or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of Java development (academic projects or internships acceptable).
- Strong interest in Identity and Access Management concepts, including SAML and OIDC.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to IAM platforms such as Ping, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar technologies.
- Basic familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
