Role - Information Security Officer:  

We are seeking a dedicated Security Awareness Specialist to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security awareness programs across our organization. This role will be instrumental in fostering a culture of security consciousness and ensuring our workforce is equipped to identify and respond to security threats.
 

What You’ll Do:  

  1. Program Development & Management:
  • Design and deliver tailored security awareness training for multiply organizational audiences
  • Create educational content including presentations, videos, newsletters, and interactive materials
  • Develop and manage phishing simulation campaigns to test and improve employee awareness
  • Establish and monitor metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and report on security improvements
  • Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity Best Practices and Risk Mitigation strategies
  • Experienced with Behavioral Change and User Engagement Strategies to enhance security culture
  • Skilled in Security Risk Communication and effective Crisis Management
  • Well-versed in Social Engineering Awareness and Prevention methods
2.Training & Communication:
  • Conduct onboarding and ongoing security awareness sessions
  • Present on emerging threats, social engineering tactics, and best practices
  • Collaborate with IT Security and HR to integrate security awareness into employee lifecycle
  • Communicate policies and updates clearly to all staff levels.
Threat Intelligence & Response:
  • Stay current on cybersecurity trends, threats, and industry best practices
  • Analyze security incidents to identify training opportunities and awareness gaps
  • Collaborate with the Security Operations team to address human-factor vulnerabilities
  • Provide guidance to employees on reporting suspicious activities
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
  • Work cross-functionally with departments to ensure security awareness initiatives align with business objectives
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders to continuously enhance program effectiveness
  • Support compliance requirements related to security training and awareness
  • Contribute to the development of security policies and procedures
 

 Key Skills & Qualification Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in security awareness or cybersecurity roles
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in security incident data reporting
  • Proven experience in delivering and managing security awareness training programs, especially focused on phishing attacks and prevention. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate detailed reports and analyze security incident data
  • Exceptional attention to detail to identify subtle phishing indicators and vulnerabilities 
  • Proven experience in delivering and managing security awareness training programs, especially focused on phishing attacks and prevention
  • Proficient with security awareness tools and platforms used for training, phishing simulations, and reporting
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and training campaigns simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt training content and delivery methods to different audiences and learning styles
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging threats and security trends 
  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges in user engagement and training effectiveness
  • Creative thinking and ability to make security topics engaging and relevant
  • Strong analytical skills to assess program effectiveness
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Adaptability to evolving threat landscapes and business needs
