The Lead Architect of Access Management is a pivotal role within our Services practice, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining access management systems and strategies that ensure the security and integrity of our customers critical data and systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, streamline processes, and enable secure access for employees, partners, and customers.

The Lead Architect of Access Management is a pivotal role within our Services practice, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining access management systems and strategies that ensure the security and integrity of our customers critical data and systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, streamline processes, and enable secure access for employees, partners, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Management Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive access management strategy that aligns with the organization's security goals and regulatory requirements.
- Architectural Design: Create and oversee the design of access management solutions, including authentication, authorization, and single sign-on (SSO) mechanisms.
- Technology Evaluation: Research, evaluate, and recommend access management technologies, tools, and frameworks that enhance security and user experience.
- Policy Development: Establish access control policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring they comply with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, application development, business and operations teams to integrate access management solutions into existing systems and applications.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement measures to mitigate risks effectively.
- Identity and Access Governance: Implement identity and access governance practices to monitor and audit user access rights, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Incident Response: Develop and maintain an incident response plan related to access management, including rapid resolution of security incidents and breaches.
- Security Awareness: Promote security awareness and best practices across the organization through training and communication efforts.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of access management solutions, configurations, and processes.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with access management technology vendors and service providers.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of access management professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in access management, identity and access management (IAM), or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of access management principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Experience with authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, compliance standards, and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.
- Must be near the Atlanta headquarters.
