About the Role
The SailPoint IIQ Developer will be responsible for enhancing, stabilizing, and supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) implementations for enterprise clients. This role focuses on system stabilization, lifecycle flow remediation, performance tuning, disaster recovery enablement, and operational readiness. The developer will work closely with architects, stakeholders, and client teams to deliver scalable, secure, and audit-ready identity governance solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, develop, customize, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) components across Dev, QA, Prod, and DR environments
  • Analyze and remediate configuration gaps, workflow failures, connector issues, and performance bottlenecks
  • Develop and enhance IIQ lifecycle workflows covering joiner, mover, leaver scenarios, including complex events such as:
    • Contingent worker conversions
    • Reassignments and organizational transfers
    • Leave and return scenarios
  • Troubleshoot and optimize IIQ jobs, task schedules, queues, and database interactions
  • Enhance identity provisioning, access request, and approval workflows integrated with ServiceNow
  • Implement automation to reduce identity/access request backlog and prevent recurrence
  • Support Disaster Recovery (DR) setup by validating environment parity, replication readiness, and failover processes
  • Ensure configuration consistency across environments and align implementations with SailPoint best practices
  • Develop and maintain documentation including SOPs, runbooks, and operational guidelines
  • Participate in testing cycles, deployments, and post-release validations
  • Provide regular status updates and collaborate with onshore and offshore teams
  • Follow change, incident, and problem management processes

What You Bring
  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) development and support
  • Strong experience in:
    • SailPoint IIQ workflows, rules, policies, roles, and lifecycle management
    • Java and Beanshell scripting (essential)
    • IIQ connectors (AD, LDAP, Database, Web Services, etc.)
  • Proven expertise in:
    • Identity lifecycle management (JML)
    • Access provisioning, de-provisioning, and certifications
    • Performance tuning and job optimization
  • Experience integrating IIQ with ServiceNow for request and fulfillment automation
  • Strong understanding of IAM architecture, RBAC, and governance controls
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • REST APIs, Web Services, XML, JSON
    • LDAP and directory services
  • Familiarity with audit readiness, logging, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery models

Nice to Have
  • SailPoint IIQ certification
  • Hands-on experience with Disaster Recovery planning and execution for IIQ
  • Exposure to SailPoint IdentityIQ upgrades and environment migrations
  • Experience creating SOPs, operational runbooks, and support models
  • Knowledge of SailPoint recommended architecture and Compass guidelines
