Job Title: Sr Java Support Engineer
Location: Heredia, Costa Rica (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
About the Role: We are looking for a Java Support Engineer to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize SimeioIO. The ideal candidate should have experience with Java Spring and a strong understanding of deployment and troubleshooting in a production environment. Kubernetes and Docker experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SimeioIO.
- Deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize Java Spring applications.
- Work with internal teams to identify and resolve application bugs and performance issues.
- Support incident resolution and perform root cause analysis.
- Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and best practices.
- Learn and work with Kubernetes and Docker as needed.
- Work onsite 3 days per week in Heredia, Costa Rica.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Java application support or development.
- Strong understanding of Java Spring framework (Spring Boot is a plus).
- Experience troubleshooting production environments.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues independently.
- Willingness to learn Kubernetes and Docker if not already experienced.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
